Fire pump starting methods

The relationship between the fire control room and the fire hydrant activation button depends on the starting method of the fire hydrant pump. Fire hydrant pumps generally have two starting methods. The first method is under the bus-based联控 system, where the fire hydrant activation button can send its required start signal to the fire control room console through a联动 interface module located next to the fire hydrant, and then output a switch contact that starts the fire hydrant from there. The second starting method is to directly output the switch contact of the fire hydrant activation button to the fire hydrant pump starting box. Both starting methods can be used in actual design. The former method saves wiring, but requires address coding and programming of the fire hydrant联动 module under the bus system to monitor a large number of fire hydrants. The latter method is simple and reliable, but also needs to return the fire hydrant action signal to the fire control room. Designers can choose according to the actual project scale in the specific design. For large-scale projects with complex building structures, the former method can be used, while for small-scale projects, the latter method can be used.
The automatic start of the sprinkler pump is achieved by the high-temperature shattering of the glass balls in the pipe network nozzles of each protected area, causing water flow in the pipe network, thus actuating the alarm valve pressure switch and achieving the automatic start of the sprinkler pump. By connecting the water flow indicator联动 module or the alarm valve pressure switch to the control room, the fire control room can accurately reflect its action signal, and the control room should be able to directly control the start and stop of the sprinkler pump.
