Daily maintenance of gear oil pump

1. Frequent greasing is required for high-speed operation of electric oil drum pumps, as lubricating grease is prone to evaporation. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain cleanliness of the lubrication at the bearing and pay attention to replenishment and replacement.
2. Regular inspection and maintenance are necessary for gear oil pumps. Electric oil drum pumps should be regularly inspected and maintained. Check the power cord, internal wiring, plug, and switch for proper functionality. Verify that the insulation resistance is normal, the brush holder is not loose, the commutator and brushes maintain good contact, the armature windings and stator windings are free of any interruptions, and the bearings and rotating parts are undamaged, etc.
3. Preserve each part and replace with identical parts. When disassembling and inspecting a gear oil pump, each part should be carefully preserved. Pay special attention to the explosion-proof surfaces of explosion-proof parts, burrs, including insulation gaskets and sleeves, to prevent damage. If damaged, new identical parts must be used as replacements. Do not use substitute materials with lower material properties or parts that do not meet the original specifications. During assembly, all parts should be reinstalled in their original positions, ensuring nothing is omitted.
4. Pay attention to the insulation resistance of the gear oil pump. For electric pumps that have been idle for a long time or used in humid environments, the insulation resistance of the windings must be measured with a 500-volt megohmmeter before use. If the insulation resistance between the windings and the motor casing is less than 7 megohms, the windings must be dried.
5. Pay attention to storage. Electric oil pumps should be stored in a dry, clean environment free of corrosive gases.
